I’m Turning 36… Here Are 6 Lessons That Are Changing the Way I See Life
A New Year, New Reflections
Hello everyone,
Today I celebrate my 36th birthday, and beyond celebrating myself, I want to share a small piece of what this new year of life means to me. If there’s one thing this journey has taught me, it’s that living with purpose isn’t just about professional or material goals — it’s about creating a balanced life in body, mind, and finances.
6 Lessons for a Fulfilling Life
Here are six lessons I’ve learned, and I hope they can help you too:
1. Physical health is non-negotiable.
We can’t give our best if our bodies aren’t well. Move, eat better, rest. Don’t wait until you’re sick to value your health. Make your well-being a daily priority.
2. Your mental health matters too.
Learn to pause, to say no, to set boundaries. Mental peace is more valuable than any achievement. If you need help, seek it: therapy, meditation, journaling, or simply talking to someone you trust can make a big difference.
3. Your relationship with money determines your freedom.
It’s not just about how much you earn, but how you manage, protect, and invest what you have. Educate yourself, make a plan, and surround yourself with people who inspire you to improve your finances. Money is a tool, not an enemy.
4. Surround yourself with people who challenge and uplift you.
The right circle helps you grow. Letting go of certain relationships can be painful, but necessary. Connect with those who inspire you, push you forward, and believe in your potential.
5. Don’t be afraid to ask for help.
No one achieves great things alone. Admitting you need support doesn’t make you weak — it makes you wise. Find mentors, guides, and professionals who can walk with you in your personal and financial journey.
6. Never stop working on yourself.
Personal growth isn’t a luxury — it’s a necessity. Read, learn, invest in yourself. The more you grow, the more positive impact you’ll have on those around you.
Final Reflections
Today I’m not just celebrating another year — I’m celebrating dreams, lessons, and new beginnings. Thank you for being part of my life — for your friendship, your energy, and your trust. From the heart, I hope you take a moment today to ask yourself:
Am I taking care of myself? Am I living in alignment with what I truly want?
Remember: it’s never too late to take control, start over, or ask for support. I’ll be here, as always, to share what I learn and help you however I can — especially if you want to improve your finances and build a life with purpose.
With gratitude,
Susan Caceres
Your friend who believes in you — and in your financial freedom.
